Short Bio

I am currently working as a research assistant with Associate Professor Dang Ngoc Minh Duc at FPT University. I am also supported in my research by Nhat Truong Pham and Phuong-Nam Tran .

My research centers on the intersection of artificial intelligence and healthcare, with a particular emphasis on medical image analysis. I aim to advance the robustness, efficiency, generalizability, reliability, and privacy of machine learning models in real-world clinical settings. Recently, my focus has been on federated learning and semi-supervised learning frameworks for medical image segmentation, aiming to enable privacy-preserving, data-efficient, and trustworthy AI systems. Through this line of work, I seek to bridge methodological innovation and healthcare impact, promoting the practical deployment of AI technologies in medical research and clinical workflows.

[2026-06] One survey paper on federated learning for medical image analysis, reviewing methods, challenges, and future directions from 2020 to 2025, is accepted by Advanced Engineering Informatics (Q1, IF: 11.5).
[2025-11] One paper on federated semi-supervised learning for medical image segmentation, exploring CutMix strategies within FedFixMatch, is accepted by IEEE BigData 2025.
[2024-10] One paper on federated learning for brain tumor segmentation, demonstrating the impact of client numbers and data heterogeneity on model performance was accepted by ICTC 2024.
